Meet Bill!
In addition to being an APPA-Certified Philosophical Counselor, William “Bill” Irwin, Ph.D. has been a professor of philosophy at King’s College since 1996. In 1999, Bill originated the Philosophy and Pop Culture genre of books with Seinfeld and Philosophy. He has served as series editor for these books with Open Court and now with Wiley-Blackwell, which in total have sold over one million copies. Bill has also published scholarly books and articles, a bestselling Critical Thinking textbook, two collections of poetry, and two novels. He is a frequent guest on podcasts and other media, having been interviewed by CNN, MSNBC, NPR, The New York Times, and others. Born and raised in New York, Bill now lives a life of peace, recovery, and occasional drama with his wife, children, and dog, Duncan, in Pennsylvania.
